Man kills 26 at Connecticut school, including 20 children, NBA fans shot on train, NFL player kills mother of child then kills self, Dallas Cowboys player arrested for DUI and manslaughter for death of teammate, knife attack at Chinese school wounds 22 children, 6.2 magnitude earthquake striles Japan, North Korea launches nuclear rocket, Israel and Iran is forming a recipe for war, Hamas stages rallie in West Bank, UN approves Palestinian statehood, Russia retaliates against U.S., Syrian President Assad uses chemical weapons, global warming is an urgent problem, catfish coming on land to hunt birds, Super-storm Sandy strikes U.S. east coast, marijuana legalized in two U.S. states, same sex marriage is a growing trend, dead birds falling from sky globally, millions of fish in Sweden, iceberg melting despite little to no sun.
As December 21, 2012 nears it seems that a lot of tragic is being reported. December 21, 2012 is what many view as the end of the world due to the predictions, by the ancient Mayans long count calender. Many are forgetting Christmas this year and are preparing to survive what is considered the apocalypse of 2012. I until now just did not believe, but what if they are right?
What if I am doing all this planning for the Holiday and afterwards and we will not even be here? Shouldn't I be doing everything that I've always wanted to do, visiting family, friends and loved ones who I haven't seen in awhile, telling my children how much I love them and praying with them or should I just go on living as if it is another day?
It would really be a shame if our Government had inside knowledge of something that was going to happen and did not warn us. Do they really have these big ships that all the elite can go to for escaping the wrath of God? A modern day Noah's Ark? Whatever the situation maybe for 12/21/12 I am still going to continue to do the things that I normally do which is start my day out with prayer and meditation and do the best I can to live according to the God of my understanding.
However, Mr Man! There is something that you must understand. Take a good look at this world and see that we all need a helping hand. There is signs of times and God is trying to tell US something.

The Inconvenient Truth
30 Million Uninsured
Americans
There is a real and growing crisis in America that
affects thirty million people and you could be one of them. The problem is
“Healthcare Coverage.” The U.S. Government has deemed these numbers to be
alarming requiring immediate action to present a viable solution to address
this issue. Lawmakers are reluctant to take action acknowledging the cost to
taxpayers for now and in the future. Fear of political suicide drive much of
the idle progress of seeking the origin of this problem. Many theories has been
projected in an effort to discover the cause of this epidemic while politicians
use this fear to deliver propaganda to promote the many speculations conjuring
public support in hopes they have the right answer. I have found that there are
many explanations that can be attributed to this crisis, but there are three
that I have found to be direct. For example, the shift of manufacturing to
service jobs, non-union labor, and the rising cost of healthcare.
I can remember just like it was yesterday, in Summit
County, Ohio when companies like Goodyear, Firestone, Bridgestone, and Goodrich
was pumping out tires, on all three shifts. During the early nineties, these
companies started to shift away to find cheaper labor in countries where the
labor was cheaper and took the well paying manufacturing jobs with them. This
was process called outsourcing was justified to keep these companies from going
out of business. Akron, Ohio was not the only U.S. city that witnessed this
form of corporate practice. In fact, for the past 25 years Americans and
Europeans have seen deindustrialization shrinks their labor force (R. Rowthorn,
Economic Issues 10, P. 1). Between 1979 and 1999 Americans have suffered a
decline healthcare coverage as well as a decline manufacturing jobs. This
decline started to snowball affecting the average American income, and the Labor
Unions.
Global changes in economics were taking place before we
even realized it was happening. Like the old cliché “Hind Sight is 20/20). Many
of the employees of the big rubber manufacturers were educated, at most at the
high school level and some not at all. Finding stable employment to match the
income and benefits they were receiving proved to be very difficult. The select
employees that the companies kept working were working now in a non-union
position. Accustomed to a standard of living was a challenge to overcome. The
local workforce and the labor unions were not the only ones feeling the loss. After
a while, the snowball started to affect the hospitals. The hospitals were also
accustomed to the majority of the local citizens carrying adequate medical
coverage. Therefore, their investments, in the technology and equipment to
provide the quality of care were not being accounted for unless they raised the
cost of the paying they would have to decrease the quality of care. This issue snowballed
into the rising cost of healthcare.
Doctors and hospitals stood afloat for many of years
depending on the Government to supply health coverage to a few while charities
account for some of the healthcare costs. They only solutions that medical
experts could produce were to raise the cost and that was answer to a
short-term problem, but the inevitable was yet to come. From 1967 to 1978 the
price of a semi-private hospital room rose as fast as the consumer price index (R.
Feldman & R. Sheffler, Vol. 35, No. 2, 1982). The healthcare system has
been in a decline for many of years to come. Times have change and so should our
politics. There is no one to blame we are just transforming from one revolution
into another. When we failed to educate our citizens we failed our children in
the new technology revolution we failed our children.
If we keep on the path of change in America we will
restore the jobs, the economy, and the healthcare system. We have to focus on
education first in order to create a workforce who is competitive in a high
tech world. Although there would always be union jobs, just not the way it used
to be are going to have to take the matter of health coverage into our own
hands. The only way we can do that is by have a system in place that is fair to
the consumer. When we are not turned down, because of pre-existing conditions,
or fearing the decline in the quality of care we have a chance. The question
has already been answered.

21st Century World A 19th
Century Economy

“Don’t let them see you coming”, “Never let them see you
sweat”, “Rome wasn’t built in a day” are all clichés that we quote on a regular
basis when we are strategizing for victory. Do we actually practice these
principles when are positioning ourselves in our daily lives? That is where we
were in 2008 when Obama took office. Let us just take a look at the quote “Rome
wasn’t built in a day”. One of the many challenges that President Obama faced,
before the inauguration was to fix an economy that had failed under many years
careless practices and failed policies. We had the subject of Wall Street and
the investing practices, the housing market and the loaning practices,
creditors with the hidden provisions, and the Auto industry and banks going
bankrupt.
The truth is Rome was not built in a day; America did
not get to its current state overnight. “We certainly didn’t get here under the
Obama administration!” This is a result of the same failed policies we will see
if we vote Republican (Mitt Romney), on Tuesday, November 06. 2012.
Obama has addressed all of these issues and these
institutions are now in recovery. They will not recover overnight, but they are
showing progress towards success. The Auto industry has repaid the loans they
borrowed from the Government, banks are no longer announcing closures, student
loans are rising, Wall Street has overseers, and the housing market. Well, it
is the housing market but the many that were losing their homes before Obama
are no longer facing that threat. All this is a result of the policies that our
President has put into place. If we turn back now we will be going back into
the same situation we have been in for over 100 years. Let keep going forward?
Vote for the CHANGE of 2008 and finish what we started.

Nothing Fair about Warfare
Nothing Fair about Warfare

Our incumbent President “Barack Obama” does not receive a fair judgment in regards to the state of the present U.S. political issues and White House Policy. The systematic propaganda powered by the GOP has succeeded in their expedition to instill fear in the voters by feeding off their grief of the financial oppression inflicted by the Bush era policies that created it. Short term memory has enabled many to view these issues as a result of the Obama administration. “I think not.” These are the same results that derived from the same failed policies that encouraged voters to give this President a chance, in the first place. Obama has done a remarkable job in Washington considering “to say the least” that he inherited a country that was in two wars at one time(and foreign policy practices that was leading to a Jihad or maybe even another world war), along with an endless social war in existence produced by some genius who declared a war on terror.
Americas’ foreign policy during the Bush Administration era was creating a national security threat to the homeland. If we go back to the same ideology we would be ignoring our first instinct for the push of change. The change that is taking place is going to take time, but we do not get monthly terror advising alerts, on our local and national television, as frequent as we did four years ago. That tells me that change is taking place on how we are vied by the world. For more information on this, please visit; http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/us_elections_2008/7706582.stm
